Learn to Ride road cycling every Tuesday @ 6:30 pm, May-July!

Cycling

Tuesday evening Coached Road Cycling group!

Bring your bike (tuned up, tires inflated), a helmet, gloves and water bottle.  We’ll begin at the Beaver Valley Community Centre at 6:30 pm and move through a  different route each week, riding between 1 and 2 hours and building essential cycling skills along the way.

This drop-in Coached Road Riding series takes the place of my former “Learn to Ride” series, and will run every Tuesday evening throughout the months of May-July, weather permitting. Together we’ll focus on making efficient gear changes, and learn proper body positioning and pedal stroke, powerful hill climbs and safe descents, riding in a pace-line, and communication with other riders and vehicular traffic.

Come when you can, or join every Tuesday! The drop-in cost is just $10 per ride. Road bikes only, please.  No riders get left behind!

  • NOTE: Please Email me to sign up each week so that I’ll know to expect you, since starting points and routes may change.

The focus will be on safety and FUN, while developing some serious technical skills, endurance and strength!

Get in the best shape of your life while riding with friends!

Riders must have their own road bike, helmet, pump/CO2 cartridges,  spare tube and tools.  A bicycle computer is an asset.

Cost: $10 per night.
